When they mistake your peace for complacency, your resolve for anger, when they resent your commitment and question your intentions, it’s time to leave.

Other than that, it’s probably a nice church.

The next time you go to the casino, invite your pastor to go with you.  If he goes, stop by a bar for a drink on the way home.  Let everyone there know where you attend church.

If your gonna go, you may as well go all the way.

Sound like a plan?  No?

Then forget it.  Don’t go.

Most people’s efforts to defend their faith are based in fear because the defender lacks the bone-deep assurance of their faith and their relationship with G-d.

You cannot fight the good fight if you don’t believe in the cause.

2000 years ago, people left their churches to hear the Messiah.

Sadly, not much has changed.

It is time for the spiritually strong to be revealed.

If you know you are right and someone says you are wrong, question their authority or that of their source, whether they wear a collar, a hat or a hood.

Comply only if their evidence withstands scrutiny.

Be sure you absolutely know what you are talking about before you open your mouth. Otherwise, someone should and will question your authority.
