He’s a policeman, a soldier, a programmer, a farmer, a murderer, a priest and a politician. He is anything that he wants to be. He’s a salesman by day and an author by night.

The Catholic church has decided to change their doctrine to keep up with the changing times. Just like the Episcopalians allowing gays in the priesthood, churches everywhere are making changes to bolster their popularity. These people have a warm place waiting for them when they meet their Maker. How many compromises have you made?
Catholic experts are expected to advise Pope Benedict XVI that teachings on the state of limbo - somewhere between heaven and hell - should be amended.
For centuries many Roman Catholics have believed that the souls of babies who die before baptism remain in limbo.
But the concept has never been part of official Church teaching, and it is thought Pope Benedict may be keen to do away with it.
[snip]
Our correspondent says some have suggested that the possible change is an attempt by the Vatican to prevent people in developing countries with high infant mortality rates turning to Islam - Muslims believe the souls of stillborn babies go straight to paradise.
What’s frightening is, they are not even embarrassed.

Most Christians confidently state they are not bound to obey the commandments found in the Old Testament because they are under “the new covenant.” Even though that is not scriptural, let’s pretend for a moment that is true. If you are under the new covenant, you are bound by that covenant, correct?
Matthew 28:19
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
If you have not done this, you are lost in sin because you are not under the new covenant at all.
Just thought I would remind you.
The truth be known, we are to keep all of His commandments. He said to do it. He never said stop.

G-d can be called Yah, Yahweh, Yahvah, Yahveh, Iahueh, and Yaohu. Recently, a new pronunciation, Yah-oo-wah, has taken root in obscure circles. Given the fact that there were no vowels to pronounce the Hebrew until 1,000 years ago, how can some people state that a person will be eternally damned unless they say the name correctly? If they will be judged by their own judgement, as the scriptures clearly state, which group will not go to hell for using the correct pronunciation? Most who make these self-damning statements do not even speak Hebrew in the first place, and harbor a veiled disdain for those who do, thereby affirming their anti-semitism.

You cannot call yourself a Bostonian unless you live in Boston. You cannot call yourself a Kansas Citian unless you live in Kansas City. You cannot call yourself a Christian unless you live in Christ.
Stop calling yourself a Christian if it isn’t true.
An X-tian might believe in the cross and the forgiveness of sins through the shed blood of Christ, but unless that person lives in Christ, they have absolutely no right to call themselves a Christian. They are nothing more than an x-tian, which means so very little.
How about you? Where do you really live?
